Beacon Day Nursery - Hygge In The Early Years accredited setting

The Beacon Day Nursery is private day nursery located on Maurice Street, Nelson. We are a term time nursery providing quality care and education to children aged 2 years to school age. We offer private childcare as well as funded places which are available for 2, 3 and 4 year old's, dependent on eligibility. 

The Beacon Day Nursery has been open since 2009, providing childcare to the local and wider community. We are Hygge In The Early Years accredited and we pride ourselves on offering a real home from home experience, where children and parents can feel calm and at ease. Children have the opportunity to explore a wide range of authentic resources which spark their imaginations and create awe and wonder.

Our team of staff are fully qualified and have many years experience within the childcare sector. We also have apprentices who are working towards their relevant childcare qualifications.  All staff are trained in First Aid, Children's Mental Health, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene, so you can feel safe in the knowledge that your child is in very safe hands. 

We are a fully inclusive nursery that takes pride in welcoming and supporting children of all needs and abilities.

We have an open door policy so you are welcome to come into nursery to have a look around and ask any questions you may have.
